The farmhouse was originally the Hunting Lodge
for the nearby Stonyhurst Estate and Henry VII is reputed to have dined
here when hunting deer in the adjoining park. The cottage offers self-catering accommodation and is ideal for a quiet holiday
break for two people (one double bedded room). The
cottage stands on the edge of a steep wooded valley and from the bedroom
window there is a wealth of birdlife to view and deer can often be seen.
