The cottage is situated up a ¾ mile long, well maintained farm road, off the B6243, Clitheroe to Longridge Road and is 1 ¼ mile from the village where there is a small shop selling grocery, papers etc., a Post Office, public telephone and there are four pubs/hotels serving food.
